Pistachio milk sounds so delicious. Also, "I don’t include parsley in the biscuits because Ruth Reichl says it is just for show and I simply have not observed the show in all my 14 tomato pie years," had me rolling.

LOL well thank you. And it is delicious! I hope it becomes a thing because I can’t drive two hours to go back to the one coffee shop that has it!

And yes, it is definitely a Chicago thing to add Italian sausage to at least 1/5 meals. While I lived there I started adding Italian sausage to chili, breakfast scrambles, and lasagna, and there's no going back.

Okay, see, it is helpful to get a transplant’s perspective on this because I have only recently realized that this might not be a universal thing!
